GRAVITATIONAL RADIATION BY A RELATIVISTIC PARTICLE (in Russian)

Gravitational radiation from a charged relativistic particle moving in a magnetic field was calculated. Not only is the mass tensor of the particle itself a source of the gravitational waves but also those electromagnetic stresses caused by the charge, their contribution being of the same order as that of the mass. The small additions to the metric tensor correspond to two processes of gnavitational wave formation: to the usual type of charge and mass emission and to resonance emission of gravitational waves by the electromagnetic field in the presence of a constant external magnetic field. The latter effect was considered before. lt is shown that the energy dependence of gravitational wave intensity in the ultrarelativistic case is the same as that of an electromagnetic field. (auth)
