A manual is presented for preparing dilute solutions of anhydrous HF in glacial acetic acid, and for analyzing the HF in this dilute form. Water is determined in the undiluted acid conductimetrically. Sulfur dioxide, total S, hydrogen sulfide, and silicon tetrafluoride are determined in the dilute solutions iodometrically, gravimetrically, ab sorptiometrically, and iodometrically, respectively.
