Thermal expansion of H2O and D2O single crystals (in German)

The linear thermal expansion coefficients of ice and heavy ice single crystals were measured in both hexagonal crystallographic axes between the melting point and 18°K. The expansion coefficients of H2O and D2O become negative below 63°K.
