The radiations from the radioactive nuclei Ni/sup 65/, Co/sup 55/, Mn/ 51/ v/sup 47/, and Se/sup 83/ are investigated with a magnetic BETA spectrometer with a thin lens and a scintillation gamma spectrometer. Coincidence spectra between BETA particles and gamma quania with energies 1490 and 1120 kev are obtained for Nis5. The separated partial BETA spectra possess end point energies, respectively at 620 and 1020 kev. The Co/sup 60/ BETA /sup +/ transition with an energy end point of 1500 kev tskes place to an excited level with subsequent emission of 940 kev gamma rays. For Co/sup 55/ BETA / sup +/ (1040 kev)-- gamma (1410 kev) coincidences were likewise observed. The Mn/ sup 51/ BETA spectrum consists of two components with end point energies at 600 and 2170 kev. Weak gamma transitions with energies of 1560 and observed. The V/sup 47/ BETA /sup +/ spectrum is simple with an end point energy at 1890 kev. Also 1800 and 2160 kev gamma quanta are detected in V/sup 47/. Besides the previously known components a hard 3300 kev component with an iatensity of the order of 2% is separated from the Se/sup 83/ BETA /sup -/spectrum. Also 220, 355, 1850, and 2300 kev gamma transitions are observed in Se/sup 83/. The 530, 780, 1060, and 1300 kev gamma transitions previously assigned to Se/sup 83/ should be assigned to Br/sup 82/. Some of the low-lying excited states of odd nuclei containing 29 (or 27) protons or neutrons are classified. (auth)
