A DISTORTED WAVE ANALYSIS OF QUASI-FREE PROTON-PROTON SCATTERING IN Li$sup 6$ AND Li$sup 7$
Distorted-wave calculations for Li/sup 6/ and Li/sup 7/ are compared with data. The impulse approximation was used, and the distortion was considered in the semi-classical approximation. Only the coplanar symmetric case was examined; the outgoing protons have equal energies, are in the same plane as the oncoming beam, and form equal angles with it. Discrepancies were obtained; possible explanations are offered. (L.N.N.)
