Basic problems confronting the AEC in safe application of aerospace nuclear power devices are discussed. The approach being used to identify and solve some of these problems is summarized. Safety programs for Project Pluto, SNAP applications, Project Rover, and re-entry burn-up tests are described. (M.C.G.)
