A colorimetric radiation dosimeter is described which is in the form of a label for application to a substance being irradiated. The dosimeter comprises an adhesive backing, a photographic high-speed print-out paper which changes color with radiation dose, a step wedge with perforations for comparing the print- out paper with the wedges, and a filter material to protect the paper from printing out due to light exposure.
