CONVERSION COEFFICIENT MEASUREMENT OF THE 426 kev PURE E2 TRANSITION IN Hg$sup 19$$sup 6$
The K-conversion coefficient of the 426-kev transition in Hg/sup 196/ was measured using the electron-gamma coincidence method. The result obtained for alpha /sub K/(426) = 0.0268 plus or minus 0.0028 agrees with theoretical values for pure E2 transition. (auth)
