A bibliography on shielding was compiled in connection with a study of radiation hazards on the lunar surface. The 338 references include works on the subject of reactor shielding both on land and in nuclear-powered space vehicles, shielding against trapped radiation belts, cosmic rays, and solar flares. Both theoretical and empirical studies are included. The references cover the period from 1958 to February 1962, and are arranged alphabetically by author.
