The concentration of Sr/sup 90/ and stable strontium was measured in bone ash from pregnant sheep ewes (metatarsal diaphyses and vertebrae) and their fetuses (ossified parts of the long bone diaphyses). The fetuses weighed from 125 g (Sr/sup 90/) and 110 g (stable strontium) to 2650 g. (auth)
