COSMIC RAYS AND THE INTERPLANETARY MEDIUM

A general outline is presented of the mechanisms for propagation of cosmic-ray and magnetic-field disturbances through the interplanetary space following solar flares. The effects of the magnetic-field disturbances on the intensity of galactic cosmic radiation are discussed. (T.F.H.)
