EQUIPMENT OFR STUDYING PROTON RELAXATION OF LIQUIDS IN WEAK MAGNETIC FIELDS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Pribory i Tekh. Ekspt.
OSTI ID:4775292
The design is given of a device for measuring large (>O.1 sec) duration proton relaxation in low-viscosity liquids by means of spin echo in 0.5 to 5 gauss fields. An increased echo signal is achieved by preliminary polarization of specimens by 50 to 500 gauss fields. The magnitudes of longitudinal relaxation duration, T/sub 1/, correspond to the intensity of the 50 to 500 gauss field and the transverse relaxation duration, T/sub 2/, to the 0.5 to 5 gauss field.
