>Kushtan (Uzhgorodskii State Univ., USSR). Zhur. Eksptl'. i Teoret. Fiz., 43. 581-3(Aug. 1962). (ln Russian) Experimental data on pi /sup -/-p scattering are treated by extrapolating to the nonphysical pole, the presence of which is connected with the existence of a scalar neutral meson. The results of the processing of the data apparently indicate the existence of a scalar neutral meson. lt is shown that the most probable value of the mass of this meson is 380 plus or minus m/sub e/.
