After a description of some plants of the mixed type in which the saturated vapor produced by nuclear heat is superheated by conventional fuels, the cost of pressurized water reactor plant with and without a naphtha superheater is compared. On the basis of the comparison. technical and economic considerations are given from which possible advantages from the adoption of superheaters are deduced. (tr-auth)
