THE STRUCTURE OF WEAK SHOCK WAVES IN A PLASMA (in Russian)

The structure of weak shock waves in anisotropic magnetohydrodynamics is investigated. An expression is given for the width of weak shock waves for any direction of the shock wave front with respect to the magnetic field direction. This general expression is considered in detail for a completely ionized plasma. The dependence of the velocity of weak shock waves on pressure discontinuity is presented as well as the relation between the magnetic field strength, hydrodynamic velocity and pressure discontinuities. Finally an expression is given for the attenuation coefficient of weak magnetosound waves in anisotropic magnetohydrodynamics. (auth)
