Work continued on the fabrication of the plane-parallel Cs thermionic converter and the spectroscopic converter, which are near completion, and on the analysis of a collector sheath of a plasma converter. Studies were initiated and completed on a glass envelopc thermionic converter and on theoretical calculations of thermodynamics and transport properties of Cs vapor. Theoretical studies of the interaction of Cs vapor and refractory metal surfacea were initiated. (auth)
