An assessment of plutonium use

Data and information concerning the use of Pu are presented. Comparisons are made which are based on the relative cost of natural U and of processing and fuel fabrication with enriched fuel. It is noted that the largest use of Pu for sometime to come will be as a fissile material in situ with its parent U/238. (J.R.D.)
