Thermal neutron radiography with photographic techniques are discussed. Direct-exposure and transfer methods are described. The best thicknesses of several metals in a double-screen technique are given, and photographrc speeds and image sharpness are compared for various converter and screen combinations in the directexposure method. Gadolinium appears to be the best screen material. Neutron sources and image intensifiers are discussed. (D.L.C.)
