Results are summarized for the use of focused grid telecobalt therapy in the palliative treatment of 45 patients with advanced cancer. Relatively large doses of radiation were delivered over a period of 10 treatment days. Pain and hemorrhage stopped and there was marked regression in tumor size in all cases. Data are summarized on 670 patients with various types of neoplasms treated with external Co/sup 60/ irradiation. (C. H.)
