PRECISE AUTOMATIC COLORIMETRY ANALYSIS IN THE LOW PARTS PER BILLION RANGE
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4766328
The sensitivity and precision of colorimetric methods were improved by means of automatic instrumentation. Quantitative colorimetric analyses are automated for the determination in water of chloride, nitrate, nitrite, ferrous, ferric, and ammonium ions with a sensitivity of a few parts per billion. the precision of these methods was 2 to 3% at a concentration of 10 ppb. The automated methods are rapid and applicable to continuous in-line analysis and batch analysis. (auth)
