A reactor cover is designed for a heavy-water-cooled and -moderated reactor of the type described in Swedish Patent l68,784. The moderator and cooling system are accommodated in a thin-walled container of, e.g., aluminum, which in turn is surrounded by a reflector and another container. The cover is provided with a collecting vessel for the outgoing coolant, and the fuel elements are suspended from the cover. (D.L.C.)
