ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE REFLECTION BY MOVING PLASMA (in Russian)

Previous kinetic studies were made of interactions of electromagnetic waves with contained stationary plasma in order to determine the feasibility of h- f plasma confinement and heating or to develop new methods for accelerating charged particles. A further kinetic analysis is made of electromagnetic wave reflections by plasma in motion along a magnetic field, where wave velocities are reduced with a dielectric described by a given epsilon and mu .
