Title: INVESTIGATION OF ANOMALOUS CRYSTAL DISORDERING BY MEANS OF RADIOACTIVE INDICATORS. IX. EFFECTS OF MULTIVALENT IONS ON THE DISTRIBUTION OF A MICROCOMPONENT BETWEEN THE SOLID AND LIQUID PHASES IN THE SYSTEMS NH$sub 4$Cl-CdCl$sub 2$-H$sub 2$O AND NH$sub 4$Br-CuBr$sub 2$-H$sub 2$O (in Russian)

It was found that the capture of cadmium by ammonium chloride crystals is achieved by interabsorption and the formation of defective mixed crystals. In the presence of bromine the copper in NH/sub 4/Br-CuBr/sub 2/--H/sub 2/O is captured by an interadsorption process. It is also shown that both the charge and chemical properties of multivalent ions affect defect formation of mixed crystals. (R.V.J.)
