MODIFICATION OF THE RADIATION CHARGE BY GRIDS AND OTHER FACTORS (in German)

An account is given of the influence of grids on radiation dose and on the relative resolution of detail in the radiograph of the chest. The incident dose as well as the gonad dose (a phantom was used for the female gonads) were established for different grids with varied kilovoltage. Measurements were also made of the increase of the gonad dose with copper filters used in addition to a filtration of 2.5 mm Al equivalence. (auth)
