A FORTRAN II CODE FOR THE CALCULATION OF ELECTROMAGNETIC BLACKOUT FOLLOWING A HIGH-ALTITUDE NUCLEAR DETONATION

A program is presented which may be used to compute altitude, range, the electron concentration, and resulting electromagnetic absorption for specified high-altitude nuclear detonation and debris histories as functions of time. The program is written in FORTRAN II and was operated on the IBM 7090 and IBM 704; the results are in good agreement with experimental data. (J.R.D.)
