DAILY VARIATION OF THE NUCLEON COMPONENT OF COSMIC RADIATION AT JUNGFRAUJOCH (in German)

Journal Article · · Helvetica Physica Acta (Switzerland)
OSTI ID:4759999
Nucleon intensity measurements are reported for altitudes of 3460 and 3550 m above sea level. The geomagnetic latitude and geographic longitude of the station are 47-56- N and 7 deg 59' E respectively, from which data the magnetic cutoff rigidity can be determined as 3.5 Bv. The station has mean counting rates of 3.2 x 10/sup 6/ counts/hr and 7.7 x 10/sup 7/ counts/day with relative statistical errors of 0.23 and 0.06% respectively. (tr-auth)
