CORONAL TEMPERATURE GRADIENT AND THE SOLAR WIND
Journal Article

Analysis of data taken October 13, 1959, on LAMBDA 5303 in one part of the corona yields evidence for a negative temperature in the inner corona. Influence of a solar wind on line profiles is examined, and calculated solar wind velocities are found insufficient to produce significant broadening of coronal lines. (D.C.W.)
