Industrial Uses of Isotopes

The uses of radionuclides as tracers and labels, as sources for gaging thicknesses, and as radiation sources for various purposes (e.g., pest control, plant mutation, power plants, food preservation, and production of organic chemicals) are reviewed. Future uses are discussed. Regulatory and health limitntions to these uses are noted. A bibliography containing 43 references is included.
