ANISOTROPY AND CHANGES OF ENERGY SPECTRUM DURING COSMIC RAY STORMS

Journal Article · · J. Phys. Soc. Japan
OSTI ID:4755287
A study is reported of six major cosmic-ray storms using the superposed epoch method. The storms occurred on 9/28/57, 10/21/57, 11/25/57, 12/19/57, 3/25/ 58, and 8/16/58. Data from three equatorial stations, six stations at 50 plus or minus 5 deg , and three polar stations were used. Results of the Chree analysis are shown for equatorial, high-latitude, and polar stations; separately for neutron monitors and meson telescopes. (W.D.M.)
