GAMMA-GAMMA ANGULAR CORRELATIONS IN THE Cl$sup 35$(n,$gamma$)Cl$sup 36$ AND Mo$sup 95$(n,$gamma$)Mo$sup 96$ REACTIONS

To determine the spin and parity of excited levels arising from the 7.787-0.787 and the 7.409-1.165 Mev gamma - gamma cascades in the Cl/sup 35/(n, gamma )Cl/sup 35/ reaction and from the 0.77-0.84 Mev cascade in the Mo/sup 95/ (n, gamma )Mo/sup 96/ reaction, the angular correlations of these cascades have been measured. Procedure followed is described and assignments of 0/sup +/ and 2/ sup +/ are made for the 0.787 and 1.165 Mev levels in Cl/sup 36/. Assignments of 2/sup +/ for the first excited level in Mo/sup 96/ and a spin of 4/sup +/ for the second are made. (D.C.W.)
