PROTON-PROTON SCATTERING AT 24 Bev/c

Journal Article · · Phys. Letters
Elastic scattering of 24-Bev/c protons on free protons in emulsion were studied by means of the normal incidence technique. A stack of thirty 5 x 10 cm/ sup 2/ Ilford G5 emulsion pellicles were exposed perpendicularly to the protons. The average beam intensity was (3.76 plus or minus 0.08) x 10/sup 5/ protons/cm/ sup 2/. The hydrogen concentration was (3.18 plus or minus 0.08) x 10/sup 22/ atoms/ cm/sup 2/(CES)
