THE D.W.B.A. FOR Cr$sup 52$(d,p)Cr$sup 53$ REACTION WITH MEASURED OPTICAL MODEL PARAMETERS

The angular distributions of protons from Cr/sup 52/(d,p) reactions were studied for various states of Cr/sup 53/ at bombarding energies of 7 and 8 Mev. The angular distributions of deuterons elastically scattered from Cr/sup 52/ were measured at 7 and 8 Mev, and the proton elastic scattering from Cr/sup 52/ was studied at 10 and 11 Mev. The elastic scattering results are shown with curves from an optical model fit. The Cr/sup 52/(d,p) distorted-wave Born approximation (D.W.B.A.) curves calculated with two types of deuteron solution are compared to measured optical model parameters. (H.D.R.)
