LOW-POWER TESTS OF THE PLUM BROOK REACTOR
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4751068
A description is given of the low-power nuclear tests of the NASA Plum Brook Reactor. The core is described, and the measured performance is given. The tests included initial criticality, measurement of cold clean excess and shutdown reactivity, control-rod worth calibrations, temperature coefficients, and neutron and gamma flux mapping of the core and the reflector. Figures are included to show the most significant results. (auth)
