DETERMINATION OF GASEOUS FLUORINE USING RADIOACTIVE CLATHRATES

A radiometric method for the detection of parts per million concentrations of gaseous fluorine utilizing the interaction with Kr/sup 85/- quinol clathrate is described. The system employing conventional counting techniques can readily be incorporated into a device for routine gas monitoring. (auth)
