A summary of work on the Fast Ceramic Reactor program is presented. The work was previously reported in a series of progress reports and in several topical reports. Information is included concerning fabrication and irradiation of Pu oxide--U oxide systems, reactor safety analysis, and preliminary reactor design. Other information is included on additional reactor and fuel development tasks initiated as a follow-up to further develop the fast ceramic reactor concept, vented fuel, mixed carbides, and fuel fabrication.
