A NOVEL EFFICIENT METHOD FOR MEASURING THE POLARISATION OF POSITRONS

Journal Article · · Phys. Letters
A novel method for measuring the polarization of positrons was described. The method requires a comparatively small number of positrons to establish the sign and possibly the magnitude of the polarization. For this reason it may be of interest for helicity measurements in the positron decay of elementary particles, where the available source strengths are usually rather weak. (C.E.S.)
