Results of experiments on ZED-2 (enlarged ZEEP) are presented. Analyses of these results were made by calculating lattice parameters and by comparing bucklings obtained from these parameters with experimental bucklings. Other work is reported on reaction rate measurements in a hot ZEEP reactor channel, reactor fuel changes resulting from long-time irradiation, startup and operation of NPD- 2, and conversion of NRX to natural UO/sub 2/ rods on power step-up to 42 Mw.
