INTERPLANETARY DYNAMICS AND COSMIC RAY MODULATION

Journal Article · · J. Phys. Soc. Japan

>Recent observations in space confirm the earlier inference from the analysis of comet tails that there is a continual outward flow of solar corpuscular radiation from the sun. It is concluded that the enhanced solar corpuscular radiation following a large solar flare is the blast wave from the hydrodynamic explosion of the enhanced corona. (W.D.M.)
