The waste from an atomic center is very varied in nature, in form, and in activity, going from weakiy contaminated laboratory waste to objects actuated in a pile and strongly radioactive. After one year's working of a pilot plant, a factor was built in which solid waste is treated and then conditioned in concrete blocks. The treatment and conditioning techniques in this factory which uses to a maximum remotely controlled operation are described. (auth)
