An investigation was performed with a 24-liter propane bubble chamber in a continuation of experiments on strange particle production by 7-8 Bev pi /sup - / mesons on hydrogen and carbon. Results are given on the properties of pi /sup 0/ mesons obtained from the gamma quanta accompanying A and K/sup 0/ production. The specific features of pi /sup 0/ mesons are compared with those of pi /sup +/ and pi /sup -/ mesons from processes with A and K/sup 0/ production. A possible existence of resonaaces with radiative decay is indicated. (auth)
