QUASI-FREE SCATTERING OF 155-Mev PROTONS ON PROTONS OF LIGHT NUCLEI (in French)

The (p,2p) reaction on Li/sup 6/, Li/sup 7/, Be/sup 9/, B/sup 10/, B/sup 11/, and C/sup 12/ was studied by fixing for the two protons detected in coincidence simple kinematic conditions. An attempt is made to define the information that can be deduced with respect to the structure of these nuclei, beginning with the sum energy spectra of the two protons and the angular correlations. The theoretical principles of the study and the experimental apparatus are described in detail. The resuits show that there is generally a qualitative agreement with the predictions of the shell model. The variations from the shell model predictions are discussed for each isotope. (J.S.R.)
