CONCERNING THE CONCEPT OF PHASE WAVES IN THE THEORY OF GRAVITATION AND ELECTRODYNAMICS (in German)

Both in Einstein's theory of gravitation and also in special relativistic electrodynamics, moving bodies let themselves be transformed by an advancing phase wave (gravitation waves or electromagnetic waves) under certain conditions to stationary bodies. From a physical standpoint the observation of effects is unsuitable in the coordinate system in which the process is stationary; from the standpoint of the classification of solutions of the general covariant field equation on the other hand the designations stationary'' and completely stationary'' are significant and authorized.
