SEPARATION OF TECHNETIUM-99 FROM URANIUM HEXAFLUORIDE
A system is described for recovery of Tc from UF/sub 6/ in a UO/sub 3/ fluorination plant. The Tc is retained on MgF/sub 2/ in traps through which the UF/sub 6/ stream is passed. The system is in operation at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. (J.R.D.)
