The effect of the ionizing radintion of an accelerated electron flux on the physico-chemical and ion-exchange properties of the anion exchanging resins AV-17, AM, AMP, and VP-1 was investigated. It is shown that irradiation of the anion exchangers AV-17 and AM with a dose of 0.1 --1.4.10/sup 23/ ev/g causes a fall in weight, exchange capacity, and swelling. The basicity of irradiated AV- 17 diminishes as is shown by potentiometric titration, but the anion exchanger remains polyfunctional. It was found thnt anion exchangers with a pyridine exchange group are resistant towards the ionlzing radiation of an accelerated electron flux. (auth)
