Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:4729725
A safeguards and hazards summary for the Plum Brook Mock-Up Reactor is presented. It is a low-power, highly enriched, water-cooled and moderated, beryllium-water reflected reactor. The fuel elements will come from the Plum Brook Research Reactor supply. The site and facility, reactor and componerts, radiation shieldirg and monitoring, reactor control and safety system, reactor physics, heat transfer, experimental program, handling of fuel and test contriners, handling of radioactive wastes, organization and operation, and safeguards and hazards considerations are discussed.
