EXCITED-CORE MODEL OF ODD-A NUCLEI AND THE Cu$sup 63$(p,p') REACTIONS
To test the predictions of the excited-core model of oddA nuclei, measurements were made of the inelastic scattering of 11-Mev protons from Cu/sup 63/ and Ni/sup 62/. The 11-Mev proton beam of the ORNL tandem Van de Graaff was scattered from 1 mg/cm/sup 2/ enriched targets of Cu/sup 63/ and Ni/sup 62/. The results were in good agreement with predictions. (C.E.S.)
