THRESHOLD MOTION OF REGGE POLES

Journal Article · · Physical Review (U.S.) Superseded in part by Phys. Rev. A, Phys. Rev. B: Solid State, Phys. Rev. C, and Phys. Rev. D
The motion of Regge poies as E and up to st r 0 is examined in detail. It follows from the well-known threshold law of the S matrix that infinitely many poles approach l = -1/2, from the first and the third quadrants as E and up to st r 0+, and from the second and third as E and up to st r 0-. A possibie way of including these poles in a representation of S is indicated. (auth)
