BONE MARROW TRANSPLANTATION IN APLASTIC (HYPOPLASTIC) ANAEMIAS AND ACUTE LEUKEMIA

Clinical observations are reported on 18 patients with aplastic anemia and acute leukemia treated by bone marrow transplantation. Bone marrow did not improve results in acute leukemia. The transplantation of bone marrow in conjunction with chemical treatment may have had a favorable effect on the course of the disease. (C.H.)
