ABS>Formulas connected with nucleon-nucleon spin-orbit interactions are reexamined due to increased interest in the possibility of a common origin for the nucleonnucleon spin-orbit potential and a repulsive core potential suggested by the saturation of nuclear forces in a vector meson field interaction. Experiment is noted to give no clear indication of the presence of the spin-orbit potential, and theoretical uncertainties involved are examained. (D.C.W.)
