The Heavy Water Componerts Test Reactor (RWCTR) was started up with test fuel elemerts. A new design of driver elements was proposed for use in later loads of HWCTR to obtain more severe thermal conditions than can be obtained in the test elements with the current design of driver tubes. Additional measurements of heat transfer burnout in annuli and tubes contrining boiling water at 1000 psia were made. (auth)
